World AIDS Day Remembrance
The purpose of Southwest CARE Center's World AIDS Day Remembrance is to provide the community with an event to honor those we have loved and lost to AIDS as well as to recognize the fact that the disease still exists and still affects us.
Specific activities will include:
-The lighting of farolitos decorated with the red AIDS ribbon at sundown
-A non-denominational prayer
-Songs of remembrance and love
-The opportunity for those gathered to share memories or whatever they like with the group
Please join us in lighting farolitos to remember those we have loved and lost to AIDS. Suggested Donation of $5 per farolito. You may include a personal message on a farolito to be displayed at the ceremony.
